Catering
The menu will be as follows:
First course- vegetable soup served in bread bowls.
Main course- roasted turkey with potatoes and onions.
The beverage will be mulled cider
(in a large cauldron with clove studded oranges and apples floating in it).
The third course will be a selection of fruit and exotic cheeses.
The cake will be old fashioned apple pudding
served hot with caramel sauce (family recipe) or chocolate sauce.
Three or four costumed waiters/waitresses will bring out the food
- still steaming - and serve everyone their first serving.
Seconds, etc. will be served from the buffet table
which will be available throughout the dancing in the evening.
All the food will be served from raw wooden boards.
No flatware will be provided,
food is meant to be eaten with the fingers.
